New team- Debut Win: Air Miles

Early Jan is usually a slow start, but not at The Dodge Club We kicked off the year with two new teams, new captains and even more drama Our opening event delivered us an intense finale. 

Eva debuted with her tough team Titans

Miles has 3 medals wins as a player - lead his Air Miles team to final victory

Purple Reign met the debut team Air Miles in the final. For a while it looked like Purple Reign had it, reducing their opponents down to two

Mariam’s already won captaining her M24 birthday team, secured medal 2 playing for Air Miles

This was my fourth time attending TDC and I always wanted to get to a last man standing stage; but goodness me it tested my limits. 😰

No matter how competitive things get, everyone keeps it light-hearted. It's a perfect way to introduce the sport casually.

Since we were down in numbers I knew I had to use my throwing power and fast counter-attacks. Luckily Mariam was the last player with me on the court.

Thankfully putting in a shift paid off; not only getting the win but spectators and other players congratulating me was a great feeling.
